Mr. Schrotenboer graduated from Hope College in 1978 with a double major in business administration and economics. He was a proud member of the Cosmopolitan Fraternity and played on Hope's golf team. He graduated with distinction from the Thomas M. Cooley Law School in 1982.
Mr. Schrotenboer is an experienced litigator. He has tried over forty jury trials throughout the state of Michigan. He has extensive experience in a number of practice areas, including insurance defense of third-party, first-party, and premises liability cases; plaintiff's medical malpractice and personal injury cases; and claims for commissions under the Sales Representative Commissions Act.
Mr. Schrotenboer and his wife Lisa have two adult children, Brian and Molly. He is a rabid college football and basketball fan. He loves to play golf, bike, and swim laps for recreation. He and Lisa live in Hudsonville.
